YES you heard right people of all ages…Mass Effect: Andromeda is being released Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in North America and Thursday, March 23, 2017 in Europe.

In a news update on Mass Effect’s website, General Manager of Bioware, Aaryn Flynn came out with this message to be heard; “On behalf of our teams across Montreal, Edmonton and Austin, I’m excited to announce that Mass EffectTM: Andromeda will be launching in North America on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 and beginning Thursday, March 23, 2017 in Europe. We appreciate your patience (and in fact, even your lack of patience in some instances) as we’ve been focused on completing the game. Here’s a little bit of context into how we’ve gotten here.”

Great news indeed as Mass Effect is one of the series I have most fond of in my heart playing in a more unsecure age as a teenager. They help give hope and get me interested in rpg adventure games again.

To this day I can still remember the hard choices, the routes I took, the companions I had on each save. As well as the adventure itself with the engrossing story of the Reapers trying to destroy the galaxy with only Commander Shepard standing up against them and the threat they represent.

Aaryn Flynn also goes into describing how they have better gotten an understanding on developing the game in the right way to the date we now have received; “Over this holiday break, developers at BioWare took home a version of the game in what we call the “holiday build”.  This is a longstanding studio tradition that goes back to the early days of the original Mass Effect. Many load up a PC or console and go home to play as much as possible at their leisure. Coming back from holiday, the feedback has been great. Getting the endorsement from members of our studio, many of whom played key roles on the original trilogy, was definitely a key factor in helping us lock in on the date.”

So I’m wrapping up this blog post and hope to see – like all the rest of the fans in the community of Bioware – everybody in Andromeda.

However, we can’t only be overly joyous about the news. It is okay to be sceptical, that even though the game will come out, it will have severe bugs as well as a day one patch (which today now has become standard for newly released games). That preordering the game for its collectors edition or deluxe edition is just wasted money for a product that may end up not being so good as everybody are hoping it to be.

In the end, it is all up to you and how you are perceiving these new, but I would still like to hear your thoughts on this. Are you guys ready to get back into the galaxy with the Andromeda? Or are you holding out for the reviews and streams that will shape your final thoughts on whether to buy it or not?

So do tell me down in the comments, I’m always interested hearing from you.

Stay Cozy and have a nice day!
